Wednesday's Journey episode 5

Welcome back to the latest escapades of Wednesday the kitten with a huge appetite for life... And food. But considering he's the son of street cats he's a bit fussy about what he'll eat. Wednesday will nibble on dry cat food from time to time but refuses to eat the wet (moist?) cat food, even the expensive stuff. Mostly he likes to eat chicken breast, fresh and canned tuna without salt of course and sardines from the market and he's thriving on it and quite a bit larger than other cats there of about the same age.
He was friendly from day one and he still likes being cuddled but is getting to be a bit of a handful, on the verge of hyper, but in a good way.... usually.
He's very fast and runs out into the yard to play with some young street cats.
Wednesday's closest friend is Von Ember the caring child who found him and Von is always talking about his "little brother" the kitten. They really are very close.
He is interested in everything and everyone and has no respect for property but he gets away with it because he's sooo cute.
I really hope that he learns fast by the time that he starts spending more time outside and ventures further from the house. He's totally fearless at the moment and thinks that all people and animals are his friends despite the few scuffles that he's had with a cat that doesn't like him that much.
I mentioned last time that he's inspired us to do something for more animals that could use some help. I think soon I'll introduce you in another blog to some of the street animals in the Philippines that we've met. I was warned that some of them are dangerous, not used to and not wanting close human contact. You'll soon know if that's true and I'll let you know in the news section when it's ready to post. And of course, I will keep you all updated on Wednesday's shenanigans.
Until then, have wonderful days.
