Wednesday’s Journey episode 1
Wednesday's journey began probably about 6 weeks before we found him in the Philippines when he was born.
We were walking around the market area in Palompon when a little boy named Von saw him first outside the market... This tiny sick kitten, eyes swollen, very thirsty and hungry and dirty.
Von was almost crying and told me that we have to help the kitten, nobody else seemed to have noticed it.
There are lots of stray cats and dogs in town, the locals don't have much spare food to feed them and often don't have the time or inclination to take care of them.
Anyway, we took the up until then unnamed kitten to a quiet area, and got him some water and then carried him to Rose's house (Von's mom) and they agreed to take care of him with me.
Unfortunately the only vet in town won't be available for a few days and so we are very worried that we won't be able to keep him alive that long. With lots of care and love we hope he will get through this and get well again
He's soooo affectionate and seems grateful, I feel that he knows that we want to help ❤️
